The reasons for this decision of the Russian leadership and the route of the fleet are still unknown.

OSINT researcher HI Sutton reports that according to satellite surveillance data, ships leaving Novorossiysk in the morning (large landing ships and their escort) are moving in formation towards Crimea. Other ships, as previously reported, did indeed leave their berths, but the majority remained in Novorossiysk Bay.

On the night of June 6, 2024, the Russian occupiers attacked Dnipropetrovsk region with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Taganrog region - Russian Federation, and also attacked with 18 Shahed-131/136 type UAVs from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk region - Russian Federation, Cape Chauda - Crimea.
π₯ The enemy air attack was repelled by mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, anti-aircraft missile forces, fighter aircraft and electronic warfare units of the Air Force.
As a result of anti-aircraft combat, 17 attack UAVs were shot down in Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Khmelnytskyi regions.
