One person was injured as a result of shelling in Odessa

This was reported by the head of the Odessa regional military administration Oleg Kiper. The driver of the grain truck was wounded.

It is known that the port infrastructure of Odessa was attacked. According to Kiper, it was a ballistic missile strike. He did not provide details.

📸 We also show the consequences of the shelling of the airfield "Savasleyka" in Russia, which was attacked by Ukrainian drones at night

The Planet Labs satellite image for August 14 appeared at the disposal of "Scheme" (Radio Liberty). It shows the damage to the airport storage.

"Today in the Kharkiv region, the Russians committed another crime. An evacuation vehicle carrying Hospitallers medics in the Kharkiv region was struck by an FPV drone while en route to fulfill its mission. One paramedic, with moderate injuries, is already in the hospital receiving urgent care. We are discussing the possibility of transporting the wounded to a medical facility in Kyiv. Unfortunately, one girl was killed.

Information regarding the farewell ceremony and funeral will be announced later.

The crew of three girls was supposed to complete their last day of rotation today and return home to their families tomorrow. Three brave Ukrainian women, who chose the mission of saving lives—one of the most peaceful and dangerous ideas—were forced to leave their peaceful professions and join in supporting the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The Russians have added another tragic loss of a young, brave Ukrainian woman to their bloody tally.

I express my deepest condolences to the family of the fallen Hero—her husband and mother, her friends, comrades, sisters, and crew. This is a very heavy loss for our battalion and for the entire nation.

To help the family of the fallen Hero:

They are not even embarrassed to publish footage from their combat helicopters of how they destroy their own equipment.

“The boys are being taken away lawlessly” – ASTRA has obtained a video of the very same dispatch of several hundred refuseniks from near St. Petersburg to Kursk

The video shows a "batch" of 150 people who refused to participate in combat operations, who were held in Kamenka on the territory of a military unit. Among those who refused are men with serious health problems and those who are ready to go to prison, but not to go to the "SVO".

In the video, after being lined up, the men are loaded onto buses, and in just a few hours they will be taken to Kursk.

The military was not given any explanations or told where they were being sent. "As Comrade Colonel said, they are disbanding the center [in Kamenka], but he doesn't know where they are being taken," the ASTRA source said.

According to the source, about 10 people flatly refused to board the buses. They are now being held in a separate room and threatened to be sent there "by force."

The part that was taken to the military training ground near Kursk has already been sent with machine guns in an unknown direction. However, about 20 people managed to escape.

Earlier, ASTRA reported that on August 12, several hundred people were taken out of the military settlement of Kamenka near St. Petersburg, where the 138th separate motorized rifle brigade is based and where men who refused to fight were held. Some of the refusers had already been charged with criminal offenses for abandoning their unit, they were under investigation, and some were awaiting military commission.

Also yesterday ASTRA learned that on August 8 in Kamenka, a soldier involved in a case of abandoning his unit attempted suicide. The editorial staff has the man's last name. The soldier is planned to be sent to a mental hospital.

This is a really frustrating story:

Earlier in July, Polish farmers called for a ban on frozen raspberries import from Ukraine, saying that their influx could destabilize the market prices in the country.

This already after:

On May 2, the European Commission banned the sale of Ukrainian wheat, maize, rapeseed, and sunflower seed in Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia until June 5 in a bid to "alleviate logistical bottlenecks," but allowed their circulation in other European markets. The ban was later extended until September 15.

Disclaimer: I'm not an economist, so I don't know how much this affects export prices.
