First satellite images of the fire at the oil depot in the port of Feodosia

Radio Liberty publishes the first satellite images of the ongoing fire at the oil depot in the port of Feodosia in annexed Crimea. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine speaks of a successful missile attack, while Russian sources say it was a drone strike. As Radio Liberty reported the day before, back in the fall of 2022, a Pantsir-S1 air defense system was installed on the territory of the base, which did not save the oil depot from the attack. The satellite image shows that it was not damaged after the attack, although it was located directly opposite one of the burning fuel tanks.

πŸ”₯ The first images of the consequences of the damage to the Morozovsk airfield on the night of August 2-3 have appeared

πŸ›° Low-quality pictures, although somewhat cloudy, clearly demonstrate the scale of destruction. In particular, the complete destruction of one of the warehouses of aviation weapons of this airfield.

✈️ It should be noted that the Muscovites removed all the planes from the parking lot near the warehouses, but the extent of their damage is unknown.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ The General Staff reported the damage to this airfield in the morning. It was specified there that the warehouses with ammunition were hit, in particular with guided aerial bombs.

πŸ—“ Pictures for 02.08.2024 and 03.08.2024, respectively.

It appears an ammunition warehouse caught fire.

It's safer for long distances, plus they won't have to worry about refueling.

To be legally effective, individuals must offer surrender under circumstances in which it is feasible for the enemy to reasonably accept (DoD’s Law of War Manual, Β§ 5.9.3.3; Oslo Manual, Rule 104; Commentary to AMW Manual, Rule 15(b)).

I calculate it was about 75 meters, assuming a 75 degree launch angle and negligible air resistance.

Wild Hornets have a Queen Hornet that can carry an FPV drone and be its repeater.

That is a brilliant and scary idea

I think it's just a lower cost version. This recent video did not have the typical view of a Magura V5 or Sea Baby.

The payloads are maxed out, which makes it very hard to change direction. The stuff that impresses me the most is the flying through the woods that Magyar's Birds does.

Information shared online thus far indicates his motive was his view that Farion was a "race traitor" for her stance against the use of Russian language in Ukraine.
