I’m so glad to not see ads all over the place. I’m also glad to not see low-level top comments; so far the conversations have been of higher quality, they’re more thought-out. I haven’t been back to Reddit since Monday, and although it’s been a learning curve and a little tough without the amount of content, I’m enjoying lemmy quite a bit.

I don’t know, I have a discord friend who leaves every once in awhile, and it’s just their thing, and we welcome her back with open arms every time. No big deal, leave when you need to and come back when you’re ready :)

I’m on mobile on an iPhone and it really does not like it. I was only able to create an account through my iPad, and the page froze when I tried to comment on my iPhone (it still went through though).
Anyways, as confused as I am about this fediverse stuff, I really like it here and will try to comment and post when I can!
It was really, really bad. Not seeing that damn ad on here has been amazing. I mean, not seeing any ads has been amazing, but fuck that one in particular.
