It refused to lock on almost since release. It can only be fired when locked on. Then they claimed to fix that but it crashed your game when there were multiple targets anywhere in the reticle. Some weeks ago they actually fixed it.
I always liked it. I'm glad it aged well enough for you to enjoy it
Any plans for how many endings you wanna see? I only did one ending back in the early 2000s when I played it, but I don't remember which it was.

I tried Hammerwatch for about 45 minutes and came away bored, unfortunately.
I picked up.Bloons TD 6 but it just triggers all my mobile game micro transaction alerts.
I finished Dredge - it was about the right length for the gameplay loop for me. I had a good time with it on my steam deck.

For impacts you stand pretty close and aim at the bottom of the vent
How do you take out fabricators with the grenade pistol? Through the vents like normal? I can do it with impact grenades reliably but I can't seem to make the shot with a grenade pistol.
Yeah, same. I've played a few random helldivers matches here and there and haven't been kicked but I am still more comfortable hosting.
