Melatonin

I wake up, I eat, I read a little, I go back to sleep. I wake up, I eat, I read a little, watch a show with my wife, go back to sleep. I try not to eat more than 1500 calories because my activity level is so low I'll get fat if I go above that.

What's the end game here?

I can't work. I need to sleep like 14 hours a day. I'm exhausted all the time. I get fatigued after about 5 to 10 minutes worth of any labor, including things like going upstairs or loading a dishwasher. My hands shake all the time, to where I can almost not clip my own fingernails anymore.

I work a job for years and retired from it there's plenty of money coming in. I just find myself in a place now where this chronic, undefined illness has taken over my life.

I don't know the problem, but my laptop consistently displays the wrong time. Right now it is telling me that the time in UTC is 2315 when it's actually 1815. The only way for me to get the correct time to show on my laptop is to set my time zone to Hawaii (I live in the central).

Anybody know what the hell is going on?

SOLVED!

I was setting up an alternate NTP client as suggested by @[email protected] in their response, after trying their other suggestions in order, and the command kept rejecting because the Windows Time Service wasn't running.

So I opened services.msc and sure enough windows time services is set to manual and not running. So I said it to automatic and ran it, restarted the computer for good measure.

And voila, the correct UTC time, the correct local time, everything fixed.

When cowboys would be sitting on their front porch or at the local bar outside talking with nothing to do, they would sometimes take their pistols and shoot at cow pies or horse poop lying in the street or across the way.

This became known as "shooting the shit."

When they were hunting fur, a hunter might point out what they thought was a beaver or another valuable small animal, but upon further inspection would sometimes say, "Aw, that's just bullshit."

So many people asking me to have my wife do something different on her end.

Beloved, she is on iPhone because she doesn't want to do anything "weird." She is texting from her phone number using her texting app. That's what's going to happen.

Now, why can't I get iMessage on my android phone? If it's just a messenger app why not make it available for Android?

I'd use it.

Not much to it really. The "mystery" didn't develop much, there wasn't a sense of suspense, the "mystery solving" sequences didn't solve much, the acting wasn't good, there wasn't any sense of evil on the satanism.

Really blah. A waste of time for real horror fans, IMHO.
