I'm a software engineer working remotely, and this has been my final blocker with moving to Wayland. Most team chat and collaboration apps finally support full screen sharing on Wayland, but the existing implementation is buggy and unreliable.

Oh man. All of my horse puzzles are done. I think I've had enough of horses for a little while.

I had an affinity for puzzles at a pretty young age, so my mother grabbed me this one from a yard sale. This was my first "big kids" puzzle. I put it together countless times. You can see it's seen a lot of use and abuse - there's a piece missing, one piece is ripped in half, a couple of them were chewed on by my toddler brother. This was the first time I put it together in well over twenty years - the first time since my mom passed away and we sold my childhood home; the first time since buying my own home; the first time since I got married; the first time since I started a family. It brought back a lot of memories.

Three or of four horse puzzles down... Just one left.

Second horse puzzle in this box of four horse puzzles.

I inherited this puzzle from my friend who loves horses. This came in a collection of four puzzles called Horse Collection. The quality of the pieces was pretty poor. They peeled apart very easily, so I had to be pretty careful.

My daughter picks which puzzles I do next. I guess she was feeling the Christmas season. The quality of this puzzle was very high. The pieces felt great, and the white was painted over to glow in the dark! Even with the random cut pieces, this puzzle was very easy.

I need better lighting in my office.

I inherited a bunch of horse themed puzzles from a friend of mine who loves horses. This is the second and was the second one I did. Interestingly it doesn't have a name.

I'll be mixing things up for the next one by doing the cow puzzle she gave me.

I had this issue about a year ago on my work Ubuntu computer. I think I solved it with Solaar. Sorry that's not a more confident answer. I hope it's a good lead for you.

This was the hardest jigsaw puzzle I've done. The pieces are random cut and the image resolution was pretty low. On top of that, many non-edge pieces had flat sides making them appear too be edges.

Got this from my wife and daughter this morning. Bingo's name is customized to be my 3-year old daughter's name. Best family ever. Happy Father's Day, dads of Lemmy.

My guess is skunks. They occasionally make a mess of my backyard

This was a nice, easy puzzle. Loved the art

Anecdote about living on a well. We live in a new house in the New England. The cost of our water is the cost of the electricity to run the water pump. It's not very expensive. The best part /s about having a well is when there's a bad storm that knocks out power, we lose water. When neighbors in the area know a storm is coming, we have to take steps like filling our bathtubs with water to use for flushing our toilets and stocking up on gallons of water from the grocery store.

I don't know. White Christmas? Batman & Robin?

Edit: White Christmas is a masterpiece.

Cool. I went to Castleton. Do we have other Vermonters here?

Love Spirited Away, so I had to pick this up when I saw it. Wasn't too difficult, but the pieces in the puzzle were very loose making the bottom black and purple section and the sky section a little annoying.
