The need to carry prescription sunnies is almost all the motivation I need to get laser. Such a PITA.

Popped into the new QV Five Guys. First of all, I can't believe Americans eat like this. There were enough fries in their smallest serving to comfortably feed a family of four, with leftovers for the next day. It looks expensive compared to other burger places but it's probably fairly equivalent if you price it by weight. The fries and Cajun seasoning on them were so good. The burgers come with two patties; it took all my strength to push through the meat sweats to finish the last 20% of mine.

Overall, the fries were definitely a winner. I'd choose Huxtaburger over this if I was really craving a burg, even if the serving size there is smaller for the same price. I might be tempted to return for a milkshake or hotdog but maybe after a week or two recovery period. In the mean time think I need a shower. 😮‍💨

Ah to be young again

Now this is my kind of blasphemy

No steam fresh bags at the supermarket, I've had to regress to bulk flash frozen prechopped veggies. Feels like the stone age.

Heaven knows what I'd have to do if neither were available. Hardly bares thinking about.

What is wrong with some people?? She didn't even do a good job with the arrangement.

You'll forget to take them off and get in the shower on more than one occasion. I still do, many years later. 😂

A bit sad why?

I'd say it's basically done, only a couple of spots not operating but I'm sure they are at least tenanted

I think you can just eat more fibre, bit kinder to the back passage

Edit: I guess Five Guys QV will not be in the food court, so my comment is now only tangentially related I guess ;)

I was commenting to a friend today how utterly astonished I am at the success of the food court renovations at QV. Not sure how it's going sales figures wise, but the tenancies are full up and it's always so busy at lunch time. Such a contrast to just a few months ago.
