To be honest, Halo has already been in that state since 343i took over. With how bad Halo Infinite was, it would be an impressive feat for most developers to do even worse.
What this is really about is protecting teachers from retaliation by bigoted parents. When kids grow up in a hostile household, teachers may be the only authority figures they feel safe to confide in.
Not having a mandatory reporting policy for gender identity/pronouns means that teachers do not need to betray the trust of their students to keep their jobs/don't have to fear losing their jobs for keeping that secret in spite of the policy.
They basically come overclocked right out of the factory these days, given how hard Intel pushes them just to make their numbers look bigger.
Next time I build a PC, I plan to spend extra on hardware that can run games decently while producing as little heat as possible. My current PC is like a space heater when it's running and it's unbearable to play games on it for any extended periods during the summer months.
may have more to do with Taylor Swift than anything else.
Can CDs be used as an alternative type of jet fuel?
But there's a difference between converting a JPEG to a PNG and re-compressing a JPEG as another JPEG.
You arrive in a new town where everyone thinks they're in charge, and they each use a funny accent to assert themselves. The sign at the front gate reads "Welcome to Bosston"
I probably should have, looks like Elon "Free Speech" Musk must've purged the post from the site as I can't get it to load this morning. Apologies for the omission.
It appears to have been a white dude. He was also wearing a T-shirt from some YouTube channel about guns apparently. That's all I've heard so far.
Edit: someone on Twitter has pictures of the suspected shooter
Not like it really needs proving. When Marx writes about "revolution," he means bloody, violent revolution.
Anyone advocating revolution needs guns to back it up or else they're just full of hot air.
If you apply for a job with a PhD, it had better be related to your field. If not, the employer will think one of two things:
-
This person will quit at the first opportunity when they find something better.
-
This person demonstrates poor judgment for spending all that time and money on something they aren't willing to use.
To be blunt, you don't just decide to get "many PhDs". Even a single PhD requires an excruciating amount of time and money to earn, and you definitely aren't going to be earning multiple unless you dedicate your life to academia, and certainly not "many".
If you don't want to spend all of your time in front of a classroom underpaid, overstressed, and spending years and years paying off your loans, don't bother getting an advanced degree unless your employer is paying for it.
Not to mention, depending on what you want to do for work, it reaches a point where they become more of a hindrance than a help when it comes to getting job offers.
I'm okay with seeing fewer American flags. They're already everywhere in front of every house and business and office. The US could do with a little less nationalism.
