The Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department (EMNRD) will administer New Mexico’s Solar for All Program, designed to make solar power available to an estimated 20,910 New Mexico households that otherwise might not be able to access this clean, renewable form of energy.

“Our Solar for All Program is designed to reach New Mexico’s underserved communities by focusing on supporting shared solar access projects in rural and tribal communities,” said EMNRD Deputy Secretary Dylan Fuge.

EPA estimates that the 60 Solar for All recipients will enable over 900,000 households in low-income and disadvantaged communities to deploy and benefit from distributed solar energy. This $7 billion investment will generate over $350 million in annual savings on electric bills for overburdened households. The program will reduce 30 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions cumulatively, from over four gigawatts of solar energy capacity unlocked for low-income communities over five years. Solar and distributed energy resources help improve electric grid reliability and climate resilience, which is especially important in disadvantaged communities that have long been underserved.

During a community event in Sandoval County today, Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland signed Public Land Order 7940 protecting more than 4,200 acres of Bureau of Land Management-managed public lands in the Placitas area.

The final mineral withdrawal protects, preserves, and promotes the scenic integrity, cultural importance, recreational values and wildlife habitat connectivity of the lands and the surrounding area. The lands will be closed to new mining claims, mineral sales, and oil and gas leases for the next 50 years, subject to valid existing rights.

I've loved this track since I first heard it on a CMJ cd from 1997(v44). The version I know is only 4 minutes. There are versions from 1992 as well. This version is about 2 minutes longer, but it has the same intro as the CMJ track.

Low latency? Starlink has ADSL tier latency.

What distance are we talking about for the latency? When I look up the latency info for comparisons, no one ever posts where the end point is. Without that, there is no way to make a proper statement on what kind of latency any service has.

Probably not alot of secrets about that aircraft left . The Russians probably got a good look at the one that was shot down in 1999.

New Mexico mostly eliminated cash bail about seven years ago but there was still issues . I hope Illinois learned from our mistakes when they wrote their law .

I have fond memories of Slashdot's mod system . Members randomly got 5 mod points to up or down vote sometime . Votes were categorized .And that was it . Then metamods would vote on the quality of the votes. I wrote in the past tense but I guess /dot is still around .

I saw this community on the trending list. Is Neocities supposed to be a throwback to the days of Geocities, Anglefire, and other similar webpage hosts?

He had a whole series of interesting popular music collaborations called Pavarotti & Friends.

edit: one of my favorites is him with Tom Jones singing Delilah.

It might be related to LED lights indoors. Try a different light source technology , and see if that helps.

Edit:My gut says it is the sensor because how uniform the stripes are.

Sanity check: have you tried a different camera app, like Open Camera. Just see if you get the same results.

This is blatantly false. The 14th Amendment prohibits it.

Quote the part of the 14th Amendment where it prohibits someone from being elected to an office. I'll link the Amendment here: https://constitution.congress.gov/constitution/amendment-14/

If you read what i said, i differentiated between being elected and holding office. Careful when you say something is "blatantly false". That sounds like you were accusing me of lying, and that can create a toxic community.

Maybe I'm just easily amused. Image uploads are not working, so i'll include this. But now i'm curious if Canoncito Rd is an actual private drive, or if the residents just stuck that sign there to keep people out.

After my Pixel 5 updated on Aug 5th, battery charge times seem noticeably longer . Like 2-3 times longer . Has anyone else's device had this issue or just mine . I have used multiple cables and chargers with the same result . I have NOT tried wireless charging .
