The Manor Lords dev came out recently saying the opposite of this, basically there shouldn't be an endless grind after the release of the game. He seems not to be bound to the "ultra-popular game gotta get content done ASAP" grindset previous games got sucked into.

I've never played Manor Lords, and barely played Palworld, but there are so many games out now why sink 100 to 200 hours into a popular new release, only to complain about the lack of content a week later?

Still doesn't make it okay to kill them, which is contrary to the feeling of the comment thread of this post.

The murderer interrupted the man who he presumed was prowling and choked him to death.

Really feeling this this week, especially the first sentence.

I bought the game during last year's sale and dropped it because it doesn't explain anything and the constant anxiety from unavoidable events was not fun in my opinion. I never got a refund for it but I don't see myself picking it up again.

He was known for breaking and entering, but the murderer was not being attacked and nobody's car had been broken into according to the article.

It seems to me everyone is willing to dismiss a murderer because the person who was murdered is an "undesirable".

I may be uneducated because I've never taken advantage of it, but isn't FMLA a form of this? I had coworkers disappear for 3 - 6 months for roughly 2/3 their pay and they don't get fired because of FMLA.

I've successfully left Gamepass for over a year and came back recently, no problem. All my saves were still on their cloud from two years ago, and I had access to games I wouldn't have considered buying, like Lies of P.
