$20 for a movie is way too much and it also doesn't require $1000 hardware to watch it

All kinds of sports equipment falls in that price range and can entertain you just as long, if not longer

Launching without hashtags was pretty weird, 0 discoverability. I didn't want to use my instagram account for threads so i made a new one and it was pretty much impossible to discover people to follow. Also the content was not great, I wouldn't really count on the instagram community to deliver good content especially in text form

I'm looking for a more central platform myself, I don't like how federation unnecessarily complicates things and i especially don't like the drama between instances

I got a warning for saying the words "kill yourself" in the context of a video game discussion where someone killed their own character to kill a streamer's character in the perma death mode. The method used was an ability that links 2 characters together and if one of them dies, they both die. There was some change made to prevent this in the future so i said something along the lines of "you could still kill yourself trough other means, i don't see how this solves the issue" and got a site wide warning with no way to appeal

Why do laptops need to be thin anyway? I kinda understand it for phones because they need to fit in tight pockets, but even then they were thin enough years ago we don't need to lose features to make them thinner
