I heard there's an Elemental creature template for each element. Curious to know the exact details of them since it'd be relevant for the Zelda bestiary I'm making for PF2e with Fire, Ice, and Electricity monsters as templates.

We kinda ignore Alignment damage as a whole, allowing Divine Lance to damage to anything. I'm not a fan of Alignment as a whole so it was ripped out as soon as possible from my games.

I sort of go with both at the same time, I let the mechanics drive the flavor and flavor drive the mechanics. I usually come up with a concept first, then figure out the mechanics for it, and then further develop the flavor based on mechanics.

For example, my 5e pugilist character that focused on grappling and had a snake theme to her (snake tattoos and moves inspired by snakes like constrictors) was developed in PF2e as an Animal Instinct Barbarian (Snake) with Wrestler archetype for exactly the same flavor but more mechanics better suited for what I was looking for. I didn't want to go monk since the only snake-themed monk stance is more focused on Poison (Cobra Stance) which isn't what I wanted, plus she's more of a rough brawler type than mystical monk type.

https://pathbuilder2e.com/launch.html?build=456368 Here's the Pathbuilder of her. Note that due to overlapping Titan Wrestler from background and Wrestler archetype, my DM let me take Cat Fall in place of the Wrestler's Titan Wrestler, the one thing that I don't think can show up on Pathbuilder.

Basically focusing on grappling and wanting to use Suplex as much as possible.

I'm a player in an Extinction Curse AP campaign, where we are just shy of level 7, having cleared out the first level of a dungeon. So far I'm enjoying it, playing an Animal Instinct (Snake) Barbarian with Wrestler archetype (the strong-girl of the circus, even came up with my own trick where I use Athletics and the barbarian feat Bashing Charge to burst through large walls set up in the circus for entertainment).

Wanted to share a link to a bestiary I’ve been working on for PF2e filled with monsters from the Legend of Zelda series. It’s still very much a work in progress but I already have several dozen monsters ranging from levels -1 to level 18 so far.

I think I tried posting this before from lemmy.ml but it seems it doesn't show up here, so pasting again from pathfinder.social instead.

I know many people tend to run the APs as written, maybe with a few changes here or there. But I'm curious if anyone has tried extensive changes to the existing lore or entirely new additions to the world and lore. Perhaps for existing APs or as

For example, based on a thread I found written back in 2012 on the Paizo forums (found here https://paizo.com/threads/rzs2p9dz?Campaign-Arc-Idea-POSTSerpents-Skull-AP ), I've been playing around with using a sort of Ancient Aliens theme for the serpentfolk, where their deities are based primarily on the Sumerian/Babylonian deities (Marduk, Ishtar, Ereshkigal, Enlil, Nergal, and so on) known collectively as the Annunaki (no relation to the Annunaki creature in PF1e's Bestiary 5). I've been adapting the Serpent's Skull AP to PF2e with these changes, and incorporating things like powerful serpentine constructs (the so-called Fangs of Enlil, statblock here: https://monster.pf2.tools/v/92ZJMRbV-fang-of-enlil ) that guard the Vaults in the Darklands, where these Vaults are chambers holding Annunaki genetic experimentation laboratories. The Nephilim (the creature from PF1e's Bestiary 3) are one of the many experiments of the Annunaki.

Instead of being a post-Serpent's Skull, I'm essentially changing up Serpent's Skull to add in these elements. I really like the idea of Ancient Aliens (it's one of my favorite sci-fi tropes, mostly thanks to Stargate SG-1) and I love the serpentfolk as villains so combining the two with a dash of Babylonian mythology just felt perfect.

I'm definitely interested, and I'm more likely to play an ARPG than a CRPG. Though I strongly prefer turn-based, menu-based JRPGs as my RPG of choice, I dunno if a Golarion JRPG would work (it might).
