Highspeed rail in California was way closer but lobbyists and car lovers made progress way and way slower sadly. A good video talking about california high speed rail

Ha! Sadly CGP grey loves his teslas and cars. His video about how self driving cars are the future shows a dystopian idea where pedestrians or cyclists have no space on the roads at all. (And he doesn’t even consider trains or other public transit)

Interesting. I’d say report the bug to the developers of the respective apps! (Or if it isn’t really a bug maybe a feature request for the apps/frontends to format it nicely)

This looks awesome! Definitely stuff I’d use. I presume it’s also great for stuff like text expanders, autocorrect and typing predictions (if you’re into that stuff)

Like typing !date and it gives you the exact date or something (or unix time! So many possibilities!)

If you want a piece of software that keeps closer to microsoft’s shitty file types I’d take a look at onlyoffice

I agree. Place is an awesome idea and its inventor doesn’t even work for reddit anymore. The idea extends beyond Reddit, so why not have a big canvas for lemmy?
