I will also counter and say I have played well over a thousand hours between trackmania and rocket league at fairly high levels since 2020 when I got the controller and it is still doing great. Those games beat controllers up

I'm not very smart to begin with but this whole comment hurt my brain to read.

Oh wow I can't wait to check this out. I also just came across gpu-screen-recorder and it should come with scripts that you can set to run on system startup. Then setup a keybinding in system settings for your start/stop and save functions (keybinds to run the scripts).

I had trouble doing that so I'm excited I just stumbled across this!

I cannot do the suction cup ones at all. But the Galaxy Buds Live work really well for me. They're a little weird at first but after a few wears they're like my favorite. Not for all ear shapes though but worth looking into.

There's a great gnome extension called Fullscreen Avoider that moves the top bar to the other screen when your primary is full screen. It'll give you the clock and the rest of your menus too.

Games seem to be the thing that holds people back. I think it definitely depends on what games you play as my experience has been pretty smooth. A little tinkering .. but it's a new OS so that's expected. Check out protondb.com to keep an eye on games you play to see what their playability is like.

Having said that .. it's been about 3 weeks and I only needed to boot into Windows for a few hours when Ubisoft Connect got an update and broke proton compatibility. Blizzard is now bringing lots of games to Steam which will also help a ton.

I'm stoked for this! Fairly new to Linux and tried out a few distros and pop_os has been my favorite so far. Gnome is intuitive to me, but I do like customizing a bit more so this kind of sounds like the best of both worlds.

Didn't realize they also did consumer computers and for having house made parts and being all open source, it is very affordable. Cool stuff!

Fortunately I think this is one of the ones that will stay around.

It's funny because you commented on a post about Colorado a week ago and were positive about it

Oh, they literally want people to know it's them. Or it's someone who wants others to think it's them
