I dont use the AI a whole lot in the normal day to day, but it has been downright amazing for working on poweshell scripts. Helped me fix a script I was trying to make multithreaded lol

That's exactly what I did. The results were so much better, so I paid for a plan. Kagi and Proton were huge for my degoogling that I have been working on.
We have the ability to create our own intentions. Just because we follow others sometimes doesn't change that.
Also, if you wrote "I am conscious" on a piece of paper, does that mean the paper is conscious? Does this paper now have the intent to have a natural conversation with you? There is not much difference between that paper and what chatgpt is doing.
That "intention" is not made by ChatGPT, though. Their developers intend for conversation with the LLM to appear natural.
I am not in the downtown core, but and pretty well right in the middle of a 1 million population city. I do believe the 5G tower is on the building right beside mine though, so I may just be lucky.
Was a massive improvement here. Went from 50mbps down with a decently long delay when loading new pages to 800Mbps with basically instant page loading.
The LLM would be trained with information from and about CEOs, so it will probably just power trip and force its incorrect decisions anyways
Hah, never thought of it like that. I went from 0 to 2 linux desktop machines shortly after joining lemmy.
Fair enough. I manage the same by backing up the vm its on.
Not sure I agree about proxy manager. Anything you need to access is in the gui. You can easily add advanced configs to the entries. Been using it for 5 or so years, and there hasnt been anything I was missing from using straight nginx before that.
Flatpak is the default in ubuntu though? Atleast it is for me in 24.04
