Power to you!

If you can, please consider uploading them to Usenet as well.

That’s what the original mod for switch is called, soft mod.

By restarting you either drop into a “launcher” that gives you various options including booting into the original OS or your modded OS.

I set mine up so if it restarts it always goes into the modded OS. Many people have theirs set up to go to the launcher, instead. People usually boot into the original OS if they want to play online.

Extremely new. Watched Lower Decks recently. My brother recommends TNG before DS9. Says it’ll be much more fun this way.

Wtf did I just read? What series was this? 🤣

I get the sentiment but just in case you wanted to know there is a small grey link at the bottom of that box that says Continue for now or something. It will allow you to read the article.

I noticed that a lot of websites use this particular plugin/service to detect adblockers and they all have this feature which is good for now.

I hope am not too late for this. If you’re looking for a consolized PC experience with Steam and all of its quality of life features, check out ChimeraOS.

It is based on SteamOS3 and adds a lot of extra features such as GOG and EGS integrations and built in emulators.

It also has a desktop mode for a full featured Linux experience. Keep in mind it’s an immutable distro.

Also, it uses Arch btw. Sorry just wanted to say it for such a long time now 🤣

This is also a really good resource. I’ll take a look and save it to my to do list!

Thanks!!

This is extremely informative. Yes, I got the SkyConnect and it’s working flawlessly.

I meant I wish we can see a FOSS alternative to these propriety standards.

Same here tho. I started with Hue and now I’ll just keep their lights fuck their hubs and accounts and cloud.

Going forward I’ll buy whatever as long as it satisfies what I need and connects to HA Green.

FOSS for the absolute win!

This was the final push I needed to switch over to Home Assistant and their hub. I needed a simple plug and play solution and Green delivered.

Migrates the lights, curtains, and will migrate more.

Fuck proprietary hubs and technology, and fuck me for buying into that shit in the first place.

Open source Matter/Zigbee/Zwave when?

Great little device. Just got mine in today. Been hesitant to delve into HA till I saw this up for sale.

Got it + the SkyConnect dongle and am happy. I’ll slowly migrate away from all other hubs I have to this one.

If you are thinking twice about getting it as a first or core part of your HA, don’t. It’s great.
