CRTs aren't very bright though. LED backlit monitors can output absurd levels of brightness.

They were giving them away to anyone who made a free epic account.

EA at least made an attempt, but still not as fully featured.

He had his run during the 80s. He's enjoying a second wind with the Rick roll.

Nah, people are screwed. There's no way new home buyers can reasonably afford a home right now. Home prices skyrocketed to the point where no one can save for a down payment.

I haven't played emotion Empyrion since it launched... It was pretty sparse back then.

It's also been a few years since I've played, but Space engineers was pretty neat if you like gathering resources and building stuff. The biggest issue I had with it was the lack of PvE stuff to do. Also in multiplayer, your buildings all felt so fragile. Like stuff would break apart and explode for no reason. It just didn't feel very solid.

It's like they're taking stuff they found on Facebook and just hotlinking it over here

Even ea's origin tried to offer more, with the overlay chat, etc. Epic did none of that.

Steam also offers community pages, user reviews, and other features that allows players to discuss their games.

He also tried suing the fruit vendor because they wouldn't let them sell their hotdogs on their Apple cart.

Epic games store occasionally gives you a free hotdog every week. But it also contains no fixings, and you gotta eat it at the counter.

Been running into some posts where the image fails to load, like this one

https://lemmy.world/post/12685097

While the thumbnail sometimes loads, the image gives me that error.

Also been running into a lot of images that say "image was actually a webpage" or something along those lines.

Anyone else struggling to run SD XL? Im on an older PC with a 10 gig 3080, 32GB system RAM. Using automatic1111.

Loading up the model alone is a struggle, but I was able to get stable performance (and no nan errors, or out of memory errors) by using med vram and sdp attention (as opposed to xformers, which was having errors after a generating a few images).

The real weird part it will straight up freeze up trying to load the model, or generate an image - unless I minimize my browser. Then suddenly it starts working at a decent 2.8 it/s (1024x768, DPM++ 2M SDE KARRAS, 25 samples). Needless to say, I havent even attempted to use the refiner model, as switching/loading models takes several minutes.

Just curious what everyone's experience with trying to run SD XL so far has been? The output is awesome and playing with it has been pretty fun, but frustrating.
