Of course he's leader within the team.

You haven't explained why you say he is the leader. He advocated for changes for ages. He has influence, that's not the same as being a leader.

In commentary they often say that the driver is leading the team. But that doesn't mean that drivers are leaders, nor that a commentary reflects what role and abilities a driver has within a team.

Funny thing is that Max has said for various races already that he cannot keep overdriving the car for every race. That it'll eventually cause problems.

More surprised neither of them had any damage

It felt fake (like it was from a game) because of that. Max could've lost quite a few points today. And same for previous race.

It felt more like complete frustration of a strategy that he said would be terrible before the race even started. Then it turned out to be terrible, then your team argues for the terrible strategy.

Max is hot heated, but why add fuel to that fire? Those radio responses, great way to get an angrier racing driver.

Even in this race some drivers got heated, then their racing engineer calmed them down. E.g. "yeah you made your point, now let's focus on the race" or something.

Who do you mean with leader? Max is not a leader. That's why he cannot just change things as he wants. Max has been complaining for ages about the direction of the team.

I see mostly as cause the passing away of Dietrich Mateschitz. That started the in fighting to get more influence and power instead of people working together. I'm guessing Dietrich would've handled the harassment case much earlier and much better. Before Newey you had a designer leave for McLaren. I'm guessing the team was toxic for longer than it was publicly noticeable.

I like drama in Formula 1, but this is unneeded drama. Similar to McLaren creating drama by giving Norris an undercut. I like drama, but it needs to be good, these things feel like a terrible tv drama show level of fake drama :-(

The way to win is to get every point possible. Else you might miss out on a single point. I found the comment from the team so strange.

Looking back, yeah, better immediately than to wait ages. He maybe could've overtaken on track. But having emotions is logical. Enough drivers lost world championships by a few points. Further, the situation we artificial, McLaren caused it with their strange pit stop order.

A Youtuber mentioned that it was odd that GP argued instead of maybe saying the team could've done better. Not excusing Max being hot-headed but seems better to calm those emotions and ensure the driver gets better results.

Let's pretend I didn't say anything 😬

Then they'll just ask it in a somewhat secret way. E.g. multi 21.

Perez is in the zone of hardly scoring points 😂
