I'm really curious about the viewpoint of whomever downvoted you
I'm not put off to different outlets publishing their own take on things, as long as it's objective and keeps it's opinion tapered. The biggest issue I see is that too many outlets report their writers' opinions as facts, and that's how we end up in this misinformation mess we're in.
Yeah I'm with you on the display, especially with a docking laptop. I just kinda fell into it without much searching around, I'm sure there are more user friendly clients out there but it works just fine for my usage and I honestly don't have time or energy to go on the hunt for the perfect client lol
Same as most of the other gibberish in P2025, for moral, ethical, and societal wellness "reasons." Their stated goal is to turn society back to more Christian values, but it's really a mechanism to throw anyone in jail for any reason.
Yeah that selective enforcement clause is a powerful tool if you're a dickhead
If grid stablity is socialist, call me Sweden.
It took me a sec to get the hang of it, but I'm good with Thunderbird
And the fact that these two can even be conflated is peak stupidity
The loss of 3rd places as you mentioned is huge. When I was a kid we at least had malls, where you could still hang out and roam about without having to actually buy anything. Nowadays, there's next to nowhere to just exists without spending money (unless you live outside of cities/suburbs).
I'd like to think of that as supplementary design.
Might even be beneficial. I'm trying to get back into my town before the sun goes down to hang out near our lake for at least an hour to decompress without any screens
I know we do, sometimes I'd actually rather them speak up instead of slither around
