By "new twist" they mean its basically exactly the same as Alien Resurrection but slightly different. Like half of the movie is just beat for beat the previous Alien movies all jumbled into a single movie. The beginning had potential, but it does not even tell a good horror story imo

Well nothing really "happens", but more trends we see now will continue and intensify. Think drought, extreme weather including flooding, harsh growing conditions in general. Fires, deforestation, loss of animal life in general, warmer oceans and rising seas.
Uhh not sure what else, theres a lot of questions on how our society will be able to respond to the changes to our understanding of the entire global landscape. Wars may be fought over resources like water. Immigrants fleeing from places now too hot/inhospitable to realistically make a life. How will we respond to life as we know it changing drastically in real time all around us?

Honestly Prometheus (the first half) was really good, I enjoyed the parts that had nothing to do with Aliens. The rest of those movies are a jumbled mess that, while somewhat enjoyable, make basically no sense.
OK the black goo was used to create the Xenomorphs, it was made by the engineers who were almost all killed in that one flashback, they were the genesis of life on earth and.... Idk it just kinda all falls flat for me. I think the aliens are cooler when you don't know the giant half-human-half-alien starfish had to mouth-impregnate an engineer and some rogue robot was the reason basically any of the aliens exist.

At present we are about 1.3°C above the baseline 1850, and this will only continue to accelerate until we hit about 3-4°. We have triggered a feedback loop, which at this point seems to be irreversible. More carbon, more methane are inevitable even if we stop all output of these harmful gases at this very moment.
