It'll survive this because a lot of Reddit users don't directly use this party apps or the API and genuinely don't understand the problem.
What might kill it is if the quality of subs degrade because moderators can't manage them any more.
That's probably not a problem for really small subs (easy to ignore the noise, not particular attractive to spammers), but could cripple big ones.
But it won't be a quick death as everyone leaves in protest, because they won't.
Quite looking forward to the CoD - I've never been a massive fan of the series, and I absolutely don't care about the multiplayer, but the campaigns are a good time if you treat them like a little six-hour indie game - play it over an evening or two, have fun, move on.
The problem is they're not priced like little games, so having them turn up on Plus is ideal.
It'll be interesting to see how long this lasts. The last time I saw the poll the mods were running 'indefinitely' was solidly in the lead.

It's a PSVR2 weekend here because I finally got myself some prescription lens inserts and it's so much better than wearing glasses inside the headset.
I've been spending a bit of time with the newly upgraded release of The Room VR, but I'm planning to dive into Synapse in just a mo.
