Are you suggesting that, over the 7000+ years, humans have only just now figured out how to cook chicken properly?

It is today I found out what 'the phantom menace' title was referring to
I have a service that extracts my playback data.
I'm fairly confident I would not just discover 6700 different artists by word of mouth, searching, or shazam combined. It would take a lifetime.
Shazam identifies music that's playing- where is it playing from in the first place?
We seem to have different use cases.
Sure, I could, and would like to own my copies. It's just that would be a lot of work and money with the experience ultimately being worse.

The price is for yearly subscription
That is fair, it's what cashiers are there for.
I was referring to people who retort with rudeness to a simple offer of self-checkout.
I usually go for the self-scanning guns with larger buys - I get to bag my stuff as I go and skip the queues and self-checkout bothers, so for me that's a win win.
I agree, but the argument is that this should go both ways.
Ok boomer is hardly offensive, unless the target is found to be rather fragile

Someone gets it lol
You don't need a thermometer to cook chicken.
You cook it and taste it.
Was it raw? Was it tough? You cook it slightly longer or shorter next time.
People didn't have microscopes hundreds of years ago, but they were as intelligent as we are.
And you don't need to understand germ theory to know what tastes good.
The fact that you're even entertaining this is ridiculous, and I refuse to engage further.
