Not recommended as one service could screw up all the tables. Each service should have its own DB and then use persistence to a SSD or a NFS

Well it does have its place. DoD and DHS has a human verify after the system certified the match. After the human “touch”, is when mistakes like this do not occur. What needs to happen is follow what DoD and CBP have created to verify so called matches to reduce the impact against blacks.

I wonder if the admins are using a k8s setup with CF? This way they have the CF protection and can spin up or down as needed when they get many requests. Thoughts anyone?

What do you want to use it for? Like software dev or something to host like next cloud or whatever?

using azure ad for user authentication. azure ad is free but i have a paid o365 so i use that to authenticate against for access to my containers that have a fqdn attached/directed to it. and most of the containers/apps have sso with azure ad integration option available so no more logging into each single app/container.

CloudFlare ZT tunnels coupled with an Azure AD. Work’s amazingly with their containers to keep the tunnel alive.

Be happy to. Been wondering the same thing. I’ve got a public ip’d VPS that I’ve been wanting to use as a single k8s server or docker server, to host Lemmy and PixelFed containers. Also I can’t figure out how to PM you in the Mlem app lol. Can you PM me?

I have a small K3s cluster as well as a separate docker server. The docker server runs on a 2012 Mac mini so I think it’s more out of date than a RPi. All that to say, no issues running 14 docker containers like Sonarqube, gitea, Jenkins, Maven, etc.

Yea I was wondering if should go with a docker server or a single k8s and add workers if I need it later. What do you think?

Using MLEM and I was thinking oh maybe I want to create a new community. I went looking and no clue how to do that on MLEM app…anyone know by chance?

I have a server I can use for hosting “stuff”. I want to add containers to host and help with the fediverse load balancing. Lemmy is a pain so if anyone has a simple docker yaml, could you share? And pixelfed is really cool so anyone know how to dockerize it and share it’s yaml? Cheers friends!

So I’m using mlem and wefwef apps. Issues with my comments and posts being posted. Also mlem app seems to have issues with photos both non nsfw and nsfw. Anyone else?
