Ootl here, I've started playing in 3.5, stopped playing for a decade and a half and picked up 5e when I got back in ttrpgs. Anyone has pointers to a good summary of why 4e was different and why it got the hate ?
Nah, I was actually joking but I forgot to make it clear.
Exactly this. And it's not like deorbiting satellites could contribute to climate change.

I haven't played enough pathfinder to be able to answer your question, sorry.
Also, I was wrong, see the other comment for correction.
I stand corrected, I didn't know they changed it that way. Thanks for the update :)
Iirc it's more of a lexical change: until now, half-something automatically assumed the other half was human, making the human race central in the setting. To allow for more liberty, most (all?) humanoid species will become interbreedable and you can choose the traits from one ancestry or the other.
It's nice, although a bit cheesy ;)
As others already said, autopilot. Withoutit would not have finished the game. I really wish you get to the end, it's worth it ! Also, at some point, I read a spoiler free-isb walkthrough because I was stuck with some puzzles.
Most of us frenchies tend to forget the outer world exists, and we're usually much more active on the french wikipedia pages than the global ones - especially for topics such as details regarding our political parties. Even in French newspapers it's often implied that JM Le Pen was the sole founder of the FN.
The real joke is pretending that Trump's tantrum have a beginning and an end ๐คฃ
