I simmered them in some canned crushed tomato with some water and a curry mix that I like. Pretty simple and very good. The organic and fresh curry mixes are the best because you can get away with adding just one thing and having it be decently complex in flavors. My tip for buying pre-mix curry is to make sure there is no salt, onion or garlic because those are all cheap filler ingredients.

Same! I just knew you spoke Portuguese and thought maybe were a tourist. I can't imagine a lot of people online live anywhere near Misiones Argentina or the Jungles in Paraná. I also speak a language from a country I didn't grow up or live in but mostly because I'm not allowed lol.
They live in the cactus now 🌵

I switched coffee for Yerba Mate a long time ago. It probably has similar supply chain issues to be honest but its isolated in a specific part of Brazil and Argentina from what I know. @[email protected] have you ever been to a mate growing region?

Thanks!
Starting whenever! Sorry I actually got sidelined by my work-life and forgot again. Thankfully tofu eater posted something and I'm going to share what I've been reading there.
Please feel free to post whatever you want in the community to keep it going, I appreciate it.
I used the slap chop of course
No! I used white rice this time but usually use brown and it came out fine. You can also use potato, bulgur, whatever starch you got on hand. If you like them a little puffier then you can add some baking powder to it but I like them the way they are.
Thanks! They are what we call Novick burgers on the server https://www.brandnewvegan.com/recipes/jeff-novick-bean-burgers
I used rice, oats and kidney beans to mash into a patty but I added flax meal and home made taco seasoning made from whole spices I ground right before using. Served with silken tofu, dill, and lemon sauce.
It is my goal to move to Uruguay on a permanent basis
