lmao i'm not high enough for this post
i read something like that somewhere and forgot about it and you totally reminded me of that concept :D thank you 💙
not only is desantis screwing everything up for his florida residents, i saw a news article where his fellow florida republican representatives were basically holding meetings with residents to say his e-verify bill doesn't have any teeth and it's only meant to scare xD what a clown. turning on his own party members in the state, too. classic gop move
edit: here's an article like the one i described, https://www.cltampa.com/news/the-bill-is-100-supposed-to-scare-you-gop-lawmakers-explain-floridas-new-immigration-law-to-hispanic-leaders-15773022
came here to say this, ty 💙
true, true, and true. i didn't even think about admins. just as important D:
both good points
oh, of course, you're absolutely right. it may take another rancid campaign from youtube parallel to reddit's shenanigans that fill in the ux piece of it. or, who knows, maybe it would grow organically as people start to see their favorite sites and resources always come with a peephole and a coin slot 🙃
i think kresten has the right idea, i've heard good things about youtube-dl
this, of course, is not inherently bad. but when does it end? when you literally strip away all but 1 cubic centimeter of joy and ease of use of your product just to squeeze out two monies?
idk, some of my fellow tech furries have ridiculously large homelabs and servers that have massive amounts of storage. i don't think it's impossible, but may require someone to come up with a way for us to decentralize video which, ofc, is humungo-bonzonga-jumbo
spez lied? no way, not spez, the same butthole who keeps lying about 3rd party developers, spitting in the face of mods, and destroying communities on reddit in the name of the almighty dollar. couldn't be that guy 🙄
