Many of the malicious actors on rammy appear to have ties to EH
As an EH user, this is news to me. In fact, I hadn't even heard of rammy at all until I stumbled onto this thread here. Sounds like its some kind of spam instance based on the comments here? tried visiting but it seems like most stuff has been deleted and its a ghost town now.
Anyway, out of curiosity I did a search just now on all local EH communities for posts containing rammy. Got back 4 false positives and 3 posts that were basically just EH users relating to rammy as another non-leftist instance that was getting the auto-defed treatment due to non-conformist political views. I saw one guy with 2 accounts (Gerald something) that was a rammy.site account commenting on EH in a couple of the matched posts. When I had been visiting rammy, I didnt recognize any of the names there as EH users, so kind of wondering if there's anything to back up the claim that there are ties between EH + rammy (moreso than just allegedly having similar beliefs. which is hard to assess to what degree since rammy was hacked)
As far as whether or not SDF defeds EH, I don't really care all that much one way or another. Doesn't affect content on EH so I have not skin in this race. While I do agree with the pro-free-speech folks here, even if SDF decided to defed EH, then to my mind, that would simply serve to reinforce our beliefs and prove our points.
