On the current situation, Linus added "Reddit is not unassailable. Guys, we don't actually have to accept this. And I feel like this period has resulted in complacency from these platforms as well where they're just blatantly anti-users to the point where they must just think 'You have no other choice'. The AMA is still going on at the moment. Yeah… I honestly expected more pushback from the community. The most upvoted questions are not even answered, but they are softballs anyway, imo. This makes me believe that Reddit will survive (and they know it), and that only a few dedicated enthusiasts like us will leave completely and join other platforms. Fuck u/spez
