Yeah I remember that - it needed 13 discs and it always failed the last one and I would have to start all over.

You mentioned not trying on the laptop yet - I would try that that's a good idea. It would help to determine if it's the computer or the mouse causing the issue.
Honestly I think that's the first thing I would try to do.
Yes I agree I think having a mix of the two is best. Let the customers decide what they would like to use.
I agree with you but I also think the large companies seem to always get away with this and it's the consumers that have to do all the work.
