tl;dr- s23 ultra with snapdragon 8 gen 2 performed much better under heavy load than the 3nm a17 pro on iphone 15 pm

which shows -

node size is useless as a17 pro was more inefficient
android apps are also optimised, sometimes better than iOS
bechmark scores are useless

sync for reddit crashed every time I opened it if play services are not installed (I am using an aosp android phone, grapheneos and lineages on a tablet) so it is kinda important that sync works without play services installed there is a better method for device attestation https://grapheneos.org/articles/attestation-compatibility-guide
