What does that mean?

Ease of setup in exchange for google/amazon spies in your house and your data. Seems like a very bad deal to me.

It’s really not that hard to setup for a basic setup and after that it’s working problem free with all kinds of manufacturers devices, not just one brand.

Haha are you me?!

I’ve just got a Landrover Defender 2023 (75th) and was so glad is just had buttons for everything. I had a touch screen but other than navigation no need to touch it. Even optional analog dials instead of digital.

Was looking at the van equivalent of the new mercedes (v-class) but same ipad horror on the inside. Glad some brand are reversing this silly phase.

And was long time BMW driver before that but I quit 5 series before electric and the hideous grills. Such a shame.

Yes not hard to get it back in shape again.

  • Clean it up and put a few cm (inch whatever) of peanut or other high temp oil in. No olive oil!
  • And put it on high blazing fire for about 10-15 min or so.

This will fume a bit so keep a window open. But the looks and non stick quality will be completely restored .

Just use the converter and you can mount all the EF lenses on the new bodies
