Thanks for the Chiaki recommendation! I tried it very first day the steam deck arrived, I might play few games this way when SO steals the TV.

Regarding Ni No Kuni, first time I played it I liked the story, but the combat did not click with me (dropped it about 6 hours in). Never played pokemon, so it might be that I'm just not used to that kind of gameplay.

Great Ace Attorney is... well, great. I played the first AA trilogy few years back and liked it a lot, so I knew I would like this games as well, and it definitely delivered. Which collection are you planing to start with? I would suggest the first trilogy, although you can't go wrong with either of these.

Forspoken is a tough sell. I personally find it fun to play, combat and world traversal are the highlights for sure. The story, while it has it issues, is not as bad as people on the Internet are saying. I would say that if you liked the demo, you would also like the game itself. Not worth the 70$/80€ asking price though.

Congratulations in finishing Tears of the Kingdom! To me, the story was definitely an improvement from the first game, with more memorable and epic moments.

As for me, last week I broke down and got myself a Steam deck! I already installed several games to try out, with intention to give Ni No Kuni a real shot this time. Last time I played the game I dropped it after several hours because I found combat boring, let's see if this time will be different.

On Nintendo Switch I am slowly getting through The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. Currently I am on case 4 of the first game.

And lastly, on PS5, I am playing Forspoken. I finished main story last weekend, and right now I am just roaming the world and doing side activities.

I have same issues with upvote/downvote.

TotK is such a good game, it does not matter if you play it or just watch someone else play it, you can have fun either way!

Which temple did you leave for last?

I was at the same boat with Tears of the Kingdom as you - when I got all tears AND finished all regional quests, I immediately went to the castle and finished all story related quests that followed. Which of the regional quests did you enjoy the most?

Shredder's revenge is so much fun! I really enjoyed playing this with my partner when we were in long distance relationship. Are you planning on getting the DLC?

As for my gaming progression this weekend, I'm gonna continue with clearing my backlog, game by game. On switch I am currently playing Blaster Master Zero 2, which I paired with a longer game I started playing this week - The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. The writing is so good! The characters are also enjoyable, as is the tradition for Ace Attorney series. I definitely look forward to play more of this.

On PlayStation, I managed to find used copy of Forspoken for a reasonable price. I was already interested in the game from playing the demo so I took the chance. I played for two hours last night already. So far it seems... not that bad? It's probably too soon to tell, although I have a feeling I will end up liking the game in the end.

I played Bastion for the first time this year on Switch, and had a blast.

Since I finished TotK last week (got 100 hours out of the game), I decided to take a break from it for a while and instead focus on my switch backlog.

I'm about to finish a game called In Other Waters. What I initially thought would be just a chill exploration game became a really immersive narrative experience with turn of events which really caught me off guard. I'm definitely interested in more games from the developer, I heard great things about their subsequent game Citizen Sleeper.

Other than that, I started playing Blaster Master Zero 2. I played the first one last year and really enjoyed my time with it, and the sequel so far seems to be as good as the first one.

Outside of Nintendo ecosystem, I'll also probably boot up PS5 for a few hours and try to get more trophies out of Unravel 2.

Nice progress so far, the UI looks clean and easy to use. Though the name Reader is a little confusing to me - is it only for viewing / reading posts, or will you also be able to create new ones and comment on them?

Regarding In Outer Waters, just get ready to read a lot when playing. The game was built around narrative first, gameplay second, although the gameplay compliments the narrative really well.

Yes, I did get all the Tears in the game. I got so invested in the story that I kind of rushed it just to see what happened next. It was worth it, final Tear cutscene was really unexpected, at least for me. But if you feel like doing more exploration and side-questing, don't rush it, enjoy the game at your own pace and make your own adventure out of it. :)

I started playing an indie game called In Other Waters, played for a hour and I dig the vibe so far.

Other than that I will be playing TotK. I finished all regional main quests, I might try to push the main story further.

I also finished main story + secret ending of Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Finished the game at 84%. I will definitely attempt to get 100%.
