get ready for a decisive ruling of "lol, sovereign immunity" if they don't come up with another procedural reason to dismiss it first.

an example so perfect it actually slipped my mind. a federal department dedicated to domestic political policing and ethnic cleansing made up on the spot, and now it's totally normalized.

as stupid as this is right now, consider the absolute certainty that the next Democrat administration will treat "DOGE" as a totally normal and irreplaceable part of our sacred norms, just like Biden did with "space force" and the border wall. in 8 years or so, you will hear Democrats campaigning on the threat that the next Republican president will undermine the necessary work that the DOGE has been doing to implement "bipartisan social security reform".

Israel is an arm of the US military. It only exists because of the US military, and it continues to exist only as long as it carries out the will of the US military.

I know Teamsters didn’t endorse, but that’s not the same as supporting Trump.

What do you mean? Of course not endorsing is the same as supporting Trump. Also not voting is supporting Trump. Not giving money to Democrats is supporting Trump. Not having enough money to give enough of it to the right Democrats is supporting Trump.

It wasn't the most polished experience in the world when I used it, but it didn't require anyone using it to set up an account.

This stems from the frustration of talking to people irl

the people you talk to irl are still spending more hours in a given day getting information about the world filtered through English-language TV news and facebook than anywhere else. it's easy for people to passively repeat what they believe everyone else already thinks, even if "everyone else" is actually just a small minority of the world's wealthiest people paying extraordinary amounts of money to ensure that their opinion is repeated verbatim 24/7 on every screen around you.
