you’re absolutely correct… we’ve had this in australia for years and it changes the game tbh

it was added with a system that integrates account details with phone numbers, email addresses, abns (australian business number), so you can pay to all these identifiers without bank details from any bank to any bank, and it’s instant

the massive benefit of it being bank to bank rather than some shit 3rd party app is you’re much more protected against fraud, and there’s lots of insurance going on that you’re not aware of until something goes wrong

that’s literally what this is about

you’re missing the point a little though… if you plant a tree, let it grow, burn it, it has consumed the co2 that you release from burning it to grown the tree

so if you’re burning a tree, planting a new one, and letting it grow to the maturity of the original tree, that’s… similar-ish

the devil is in the detail because transport and a bunch of other concerns come into play, but it’s not as simple as just burning things because there’s a carbon capture step too

do the thing first - nobody is going to find out about it for a while, which gives you time to think and build a defence

if it gets successful, then worry about takedowns

worst that happens is it goes away

idk about you but i don’t carry around $10,000 cash… i do however carry around my phone, which (assuming someone has that) has access to transfer that, and more

certainly looks like it could be a long term at an airport

this is why for truly important consent it’s useful to say “enthusiastic consent” - it’s not just “yes (perhaps because i feel pressure or obligation)”, it’s “yes i’d love to!”

this is not normal dog behaviour

i’m not saying you’d like another dog any more - it sounds like you’ve made up your mind and i’m not trying to change it… but… unless you go like 18hr without taking a healthy, reasonably trained dog out, its going to avoid shitting inside… they take “don’t shit where you eat” quite instinctually

when i had surgery i got a tray of 10 for when the pain became unmanageable, and was told ibuprofen and paracetamol as per instructions otherwise… extremely limited supply is a real help to ensure you understand the “UNMANAGEABLE” part

i ended up using 2 and disposing of the rest
