I believe if you use something like [email protected] it becomes an universal link and works in any app and any instance.
Edit: this link I posted allowed me to enter the community and subscribe without leaving wefwef or having to login to another instance.
For me it didn't need email to sign up, most likely wouldn't have if it did. In any case a temp email defeats the purpose of a recovery email.
Never used it, really inconvenient. Stays off here and now you gave me an idea to rebind to something useful.
I'm able to use with my account that's not from one of the instances listed (still lemmy though).
