I'm glad I discovered this Lemmy community!

I'd like to share my blog, called Godsip Club, where I like to share my findings about folklore, mythology and religion — I am no scholar, though! This is the link of the first article, a sort of introduction, which is about the book by Frazer. It is a tough reading (the book, not the article 😅), but I'd absolutely recommend it to all the fond of these subjects: it's available for free on Project Gutenberg!

Firefox on iOS still doesn’t support extensions and yes, is still based on the same engine as the other browsers.

YT ads are not blocked on Firefox on iOS, I just tried.

I didn't pay much attention about the warning in the article, you're right. 😅 I'll edit the post since I've been too concise, and I have a lot of negative downvotes. I am quite confident that my YT account has already been "rolled out" because of the many ads in the last 5–7 days. Before, I had 1 or 2 before some videos; now there are also pop-ups. I have made some experiments with VPNs (Mullvad) and browsers in several fresh VMs. uBOL works differently than the standard uBO and, from what I've seen, it seems to work fine. I'll just stop repeating that.

New macOS Sonoma VM, brand new Firefox installation with just uBOL (not uBO). YouTube does not show any ads. ISP dns and no pi-hole or others.

Is it allowed to post original stories based on the myths? I like weird horror, and I like to put some reference to cosmic horror to my stories 🐙

What NAS is it? Isn't it possible to activate both CIFS and NFS for a single share?

I mostly installed the lists found on https://firebog.net/, that's it.

From my experience, the only way to get rid of YT ads is Brave browser. Firefox with uBlock Origins is not enough, or maybe I just misconfigured it. I haven't tried Librewolf... but I think it'd be the same.
