Hehe, I can understand the need to rebuild everything before moving on. How many continents are there total?

Once I finish Dragon Age, I am thinking about finally starting Trails in the Sky SC, don't think they are going to announce any console port anytime soon, and I want to play rest of the series, so would just go ahead and get it on PC. Then I can catch up in next 10 years or so πŸ˜€

That's a nice list.

I am still in Forest Temple, so not going to look at that spoiler (and thanks for using the spoiler tag).

Link to the Past was probably the first Zelda game I ever saw / played. Didn't even know what Zelda was back then. I am using played very generously here, cause I probably didn't even play an hour of it, but it has caused some kind of nostalgia for that kind of games. Still, no reason to force a game if you aren't in the mood for it.

I am not much of a racing games fan, but I just started Horizon Chase Turbo yesterday. It's plain racing without any other nonsense. It's pretty easy though (at least in the start, where I am), so great for me, but not sure if racing game veterans will like it or not.

So people actually care about PlayStation Stars?

[-] [email protected] 4 points 2 days ago

So, basically: Don't tell your friends! Unless you know them for a long time and they have a proven track record of keeping their mouth shut.

This looks great. And I agree with @[email protected] , the golden version looks better

They do. But they use external translators too.

BTW the article mentions that their company / agency was mentioned in the credits, just not the individual translators.

Congratulations on your anniversary!

I don't know what I am looking for πŸ˜€ I have gotten couple of things from Kakariko, but nothing that obviously tells me this is what I was there for. If I don't find anything soon, I am just going to go ahead, and see if I get stuck somewhere for not getting that thing.

Played out some 4-5 hours more of Dragon Age: Inquisition, there are still 3-4 areas I haven't even started exploring, so this is going to take a few months more.

Also played a few hours of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Some spoilers if you haven't played the game. If your client doesn't auto-hide them, you should skip next 3 paragraphs.

Ocarina of Time spoilersCleared the Zora area, was a bit lost on how to get to the stone, but figured it out after running around for a bit. Got stuck in the dungeon though, couldn't figure out how to proceed. There were couple of switches but needed to put something on it or the door closes. Had to look it up that you have to talk to the Princess multiple times. Since majority of NPC don't change their dialogue, I didn't bother talking to her again after hearing her dialogue.

So, cleared the dungeon, got stuck again at finding "Ocarina of Time", then finally got the master sword, and found out that BotW wasn't the first time when Link slept for years, apparently it's a thing he do. Alo, Link got bigger! I didn't know about that, so that was surprising.

Now, I am again stuck at Karakiro Village, since the Sheik told me to go there, but can't figure out what to do. Impa was supposed to be at graveyard, but can't find it there. And have tried most buildings in the village and there isn't anything directing me where to go. There is obviously something under the well, but my bomb can't destroy it yet, so will come back to it later. Well, I am not stuck enough yet to look up what to do, going to see if I missed anything. Maybe will figure something out.

I was also playing Swords and Soldiers in small bursts. Finished it. It was a fun little game, and I'll recommend it if you like the genre. I have heard that second game is better in every way, so have added it to my wishlist. Sad to see that the studio has closed though.

Phew that went for a while πŸ˜€

So, what have you been playing lately? Or any game that you would like to recommend?

That's really sad. What's worse that Nintendo isn't the only one, apparently it happens a lot in the gaming industry.

Coming in 2025

Interesting.

I agree with the point that people try smaller games more on subscription. As someone who love smaller indie games, even I have games that I am reluctant to try, or would rather buy another game than those, but if they are in subscription that I am already paying for, it's easier to just download it and give it a try.

Though, according to various sources, the game pass contracts (as well as from other publishers) have become less attractive for indie devs, and also, people buy less games on Xbox, apparently Xbox has trained the users not to buy games, so unless you are in Gamepass, it doesn't work out very well for you.

So, both sides have their points. And depending on how many games you play, Game pass has tremendous value.

Personally speaking, with my gaming habits, the math (for PS+ Extra) didn't work out for me, so I unsubscribed from that, but if I get gamepass, I think getting game pass for 2-3 years to play through whole MS first party backlog, would be more than worth it.

More details: https://blog.playstation.com/2024/07/11/concord-beta-early-access-preload-and-server-times-pc-specs-and-more-detailed/

I am not much into PvP games, so not sure where it falls when compared to other such games, but the gameplay by itself doesn't look bad.

Anyone here interested to play it?

Yeah, the art style isn't for everyone, will look at the gameplay and reviews when it releases.

I just noticed that this was cross posted to "tmnt" community. Didn't know there was a TMNT community, opened it and saw that it has regular posts, thought I should let you know... then I saw who has made all the posts, and is also a mod... πŸ˜€
