Your account would then exist in violation of COPPA and should be banned.

(Yes, I'm aware you are not being serious.)

You'd want to pronounce it closer to as it is in German to be accurate.

(/ˈvaŋkəl̩/, VUN-kell)

I dunno about iOS, but the reviews of the Garmin Connect app on the Play Store are... very consistently negative over the last handful of months. There was apparently a significant redesign that made a lot of information less accessible. I was thinking about getting one of their cheaper fitness trackers, but I'm less sure about that after seeing those reviews.

I mean that's fair enough. I'm sure he doesn't need the money as badly as your average Joe

There are a lot of things worth criticizing him for but I don't think this is one of them. You and I would likely act the same if we had the choice of timing our resignation.

It seems more like he isn't an exception to the hybrid work policy that applies to everyone else. Although it notes "when not traveling for work", so chances are he'll be flying all over the place anyway for unnecessary meetings and schmoozing sessions. Or whatever else a CEO can't do remotely

Per the article, he's required to be onsite 3 days a week

In the offer letter, Starbucks also notes that it will set up a remote office for Niccol in Newport Beach along with an assistant of his choosing. When he is not traveling for work, however, Niccol will still be expected to work from the Seattle office at least three days a week in alignment with Starbucks’ hybrid work policies, a company spokesperson tells CNBC Make It.

The fucker should fly business class with everybody else

It's only because it's the spoiler tags I've been used to the longest, but I wish it worked like Discord's where it is an enclosure in double pipes ||text||

OOH! these RATINGS!

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Oh okay, if it's not a pun then it is a typo. I wasn't referring to the British spelling, the "e" should be an "a": "Deredicalisation"

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 days ago (3 children)

Is "Deredicalisation" intended? I'm not sure if it's a bit of a play on words or if it's a typo.

It's probably already on your radar but I didn't see a thread* about it so I figured I would mention it.

Seen 502 when trying to load the main page, and on occasion when viewing my feed on mobile web the page would transition to a 503 or 504 error seemingly without my input.

Hi,

Every so often, when I try to browse to https://fedia.io through my browser bookmark, I receive an error resolving the domain. Firefox suggests https://www.fedia.io but navigating there gives me an HSTS error (picture attached, hopefully.)

Usually, if I check back 15 minutes or so after this occurs, https://fedia.io will load normally, and then https://www.fedia.io actually loads the landing page for:

Books.Infosec.Exchange A Bookwyrm Instance for Infosec.Exchange

I'm not quite sure if this is an issue with my network or a problem with the instance itself. However, I thought I would report it. Let me know if there is any other information I can provide that will be helpful in figuring this out.

Title. I found out recently that I need some major dental work in the near future and I don't have a damn clue how I am going to raise the extra money. I want to explore any realistic options for increasing my earnings before I have to resort to taking on debt, and I suspect that soliciting ideas in a semi-public place like this will turn up a lot of ideas I would never have considered myself.

I'm not very physically fit, but I am pretty good with computers generally, and I've picked up a little bit of programming in my free time this year, though I wouldn't sell myself as a freelancer in that department or anything. I am also pretty good at proofreading / nitpicking things, my regular job is in QA.

Thank you in advance for any input.
