It is a bit extra, but I got put on to a lot of different practical utilities such as YubiKeys this way.
I also found the life-hack of adding nail-clippers to my carkeyring. It's definitely obsessive to an extent tho.

Is there any equivalent or close to equivalent feature on other browsers?
Still pretty dope if it's firefox-exclusive, just curious to know if firefox-based browsers have it as well

Enshittification can apply to content creators too it seems. Sad, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't see it coming.

What are your thoughts on Gitlab, codeberg, gitea or forgejo? I have only sampled the first 3

Solid--I like this course of action. If I have an old Github with long bouts of inactivity, would it be better to build a presence with that account or start anew?

I only have warehouse mgmt work experience(which means all IT responsibilities fall on me), but I can't keep away from various programming projects.

I've only dipped into the privacy-sphere of software in the last 2 years, but I've found a earnest passion in my pursuits. My obsessiveness has bled into most friends asking why I haven't pivoted my career, and I don't have a good answer other than I assumed there's no money to be made in it since I never finished my college CS degree.

I will code and continue my projects regardless, but was hoping this community could offer some advice or there experiences with similar endeavors. Thanks

True, but that is only bittersweet comfort to me

Alphabet boys are excellent at dividing and conquering. The only term I'm willing to engage with is cypherpunk which has origins in cryptography and other privacy enhancing technologies. Our current situation makes corroboration difficult as privacy has become so grossly stigmatized beyond belief.

I desperately wish for a reunion of like-minded privacy enthusiasts (what was cypherpunks). Unfortunately I'm more often than not met with hostility because our kind is often pessimistic, critical, and honestly paranoid of everyone else being feds lol

It's a tough struggle but I think the other _*punks were an attempt at renewing the movements of old in a new way.

If I'm a buffoon and didn't know about this bypass, is there any way to convert my newest win11 install to a local account or am I doomed?
