Hello People, I'll be posting the first Message of the community! Let's start with this: I think that the direction of Online Dating (OLD) is wrong.

Too many Tinder clone apps behaving like a casino with their addict users...

What do you think?

A few small rules:

  • Be nice.
  • If you are going to post the profile / chat history of someone you must blur the picture and hide the nickname
  • NO NSFW content! there are already other communities for that!

Freetube is already broken for me. I only use it as a centralized following channels plataform (to get the updates from the channels i follow) and then get the indivious link and open it in the browser!

Well, not all the users will jump to another boat at the same time. So you mostly hear complaints from new Lemmy users. It will pass after a few days.

Just don't use YT?? GO to any instance of INVIDIOUS!!! (or use apps like freetube) No ads and your real IP or VPN iP never get's to YT servers....

And this is why YT went after Invidious.

IMO Newpipe will be affected. If i'm not mistaken they're not using invidious therefore...

There is a bug when trying to upload an avatar image. Actually, when you try to upload any kind of image (i've tried to paste the screenshot and got the same error):

SyntaxError: Unexpected token 'R', "Request er"... is not valid JSON

Thanks for the clarifications, people! Another note, i was looking for an android app to use access Lemmy on the mobile. The app Litoff was recommended. I agree. It's really nice..

New to Lemmy (I've deleted my reddit account today). Some questions for the experienced users (I'm still a little overwhelmed with how Lemmy works): Is enough to join one server? there are benefits/cons joining more than one? For each server I join I'll have a different user?
