They worked on Risk of Rain Returns since Gearbox, but I am not sure if that is being updated anymore.

It's a shame they sold out, but the offer was probably too good to turn a nose at, so I can't blame them.

If you ever want a giggle, read the GSMArena comment sections!

Sure, but that's not really what people mean when they talk about "stock android". Generally it means a version you would find on a Pixel or Xperia phone, the bare minimum basically without complete overhauls like OneUI etc.

But you already knew that.

Just to clarify, they bought the Risk of Rain IP, not Hopoo Games.

Fair, but isn't it just pretty much just stock android? I guess it's nice to have another option out there for (almost) stock though.

What work? They are just regular phones, with a bit more ego centric bs marketing showered over.

Of course, if you got lucky you missed bugs but there were still a lot of poorly made systems that bled over from DOS2 that they didn't bother to update. With the size of the patch notes following release, some having a good experience isn't really a counter-point.

As I said though, they could have used early access better because it definitely wasn't ready, it was passable (well ignoring game-breaking bugs a lot of people ran into to). And why would you be opposed to a game being developed a bit longer if it means a better experience for all?

I hope this system works well, right now I only really read like 5 positive actual reviews and then read mostly negative ones, as that's where you find a real grasp of what a game is or isn't.
