can you specify which IP the @ record is supposed to point to?

Hey techsupport,

I was tasked with rebuilding the website of my place of work so that we can move away from a costly squarespace subscription. I've managed to build the site, upload to github and deploy via netlify, but I think I made a mistake while setting up the DNS.

The domain is still registered with squarespace (for the meantime) so I tried to point the domain to the netlify page. Netlify provided me with the IP for an A entry to add to my settings in Squarespace. I'm pretty sure the entry in itself is correct:

my-domain.com | A | [netlify-IP]

www.my-domain.com | A | [netlify-IP]

However, even after 24h, the website is not reachable under the domain name. Are there some other settings typically necessary to make it work?

I deleted the default Squarespace-DNS-entries, maybe I accidentally deleted an important setting?

Thank you for helping a noob out!

Definitely R/R Studio if you're in data analysis. Runs circles around commercial Software in terms of scope and customization. A little harder to get into of course, but once you get the hang of it, there's little you can't get done with it.

Couldn't believe how convenient it is the first time I used it. Fantastic app.

Enjoy the C3, best hand grinder I've owned so far!

  1. Weigh ~11g of my currently favorite lightly roasted coffee
  2. Sort out hollow/abnormally bright/dark beans
  3. grind it super coarsely (most beans are just about quartered)
  4. Blow out the chaffe
  5. Grind finely in Timemore C3 (love that thing)
  6. Brew according to Hoffman's ultimate Aeropress recipe
  7. Realize 11g don't come close to satisfy my caffeine addiction and start the process again - skipping all the sorting & blowing bs
  8. Do what has to be done after morning coffee 🫡

Sorry if this question seems inflammatory or uninformed, it comes from a place of simple curiosity.

While getting into socialist theory, partly through breadtube content, I often stumbled upon creators/commentators/writers who absolutely crucify the US (rightfully so in many regards), but either justify wrongdoings of the CCP/Russian regime or outright support them.

To me it seems absolutely incongruous to claim socialist ideals for oneself but to champion authoritarian regimes that have ties to Socialism merely semantically or through some spurious historical traditions.

Can you enlighten me about this? Thank you.

Leider muss man dem rotgesichtigen, grölenden Bernd Baumann eines lassen: Er repräsentiert den Charakter der AfD in diesem Ausschnitt hervorragend.

Leading figures of the AfD are outright fascists (to the degree that it was ruled in court that one of its most prominent members can rightfully be called a Nazi).

Just because they don't step into parliament and declare Germany a dictatorship doesn't mean they aren't a threat to democracy and won't nudge the country towards facism once in power.

Where do you get the "supporters of free speech, democracy and rule of law" thing from.Oh, it's how the party describes itself? Well that's reliable...

Awesome alliterations all around, astounding and astute authorship.

It becomes more obvious when you first grind the beans very coarsely. I have an old grinder standing around that I have set to very coarse permanently, so I don't have to spend too much time adjusting & readjusting. When you blow on the grounds, the chaff starts flying out, for most roasts I had it's a decent amount, probably enough to affect the taste of the brew.

I thought I had my brewing routine down to pretty much perfect, before I saw a Lance Hendrick video where he recommends sorting out faulty beans and getting rid of most of the chaff.

It may seem tedious to do for each cup, but for me it's worth it. The cleanness and quality of my brews improved drastically, making me enjoy black coffee way more.

If you're patient enough, give it a try, it pays off!
