The digging works have started. Some sad news around the chicken coop. Thijmen en Rick help out for a few days and I'm polishing up an old oak table.

I'm trying to get more people to subscribe to this person.

I really feel that they're doing their best and I want to help 'em out. Besides, I like the reviews, though the choice of books are a bit trite, I think. Too much of the same recs, I feel, that you see everywhere else.

Here’s a full start to finish ASMR version of a commission for Foxtrot Uniform — Reconstructing an original pair of ’85 Metallic Blues and reconstructing them into the ultra rare Metallic Purple color-way.

Cleaning and conditioning the leather while maintaining the 37 year “patina”. I replaced old liners, foam, collars, swooshes and tongue. I was unable to reuse the original tongues and collar liners because of wear, as originally planned. These are refitted with the 2021 Jordan Court Purple outsoles that have been dyed in coffee, as well as the original thread, which has been waxed as well.

In this video I make a restoration of a family member's vintage Certina watch. This watch has passed through 3 generations! A son bought it for his dads 60th birthday during the 1960s but eventually inherited it. The son is 90 years old today and gave it to his 59 year old son.

I think this watch has been serviced before but it might be 50 years ago or something, the mainspring looked quite good so I kept that one.

After the restoration the watch runs around +/- 10 seconds per day.
