Added a few new ones to the squad 😅 Will be relaxing a bit after having gotten these, feeling really happy with the diversity of what I have right now.

I love the pseudolithos and the cute little conophytum in particular, but they are all great!

Does anyone know what kind of succulent this is? I've been calling it my tentacle plant, but it seems unlikely to be the official name. Thanks!

Trying this fancy cross-post function for the first time:

cross-posted from: https://reddthat.com/post/2387799

Found them online, and I'm super happy that they're now mine.

Group pic on top, and the bottom row from left to right are a really cute Mammillaria perezdelarosae, a Turbinicarpus pseudopectinatus I decided to grow in water after my previous one suddenly and unexpectedly died on me for no discernible reason, and a Pseudolithos migiurtinus that looks like it came from space and I love it :)

...and I finally found one, so here it is! Love the coloration of this one - such a beauty!

Here's a group pic of the whole team: lotsa lacteas

Next target is a yellow one - saw a nice one online, but it was already bought by someone else, hope it can find another!

Went to a couple of succulent shops and farms today to get some rootstock for my grafting experiments (cue evil scientist laugh), but they didn't have any for sale, so I got these instead :)

Time to properly ID them and repot them into something prettier and more comfortable.

Edit: as far as I can tell, the purple one in the bottom left is a Sulcorebutia Rauschii Violacidermis, the other two (including the grafted one) are species of Frailea, the one in the bottom right is a Pelecyphora, and the succulent with beautiful red outlines is a Cotyledon. Do correct me if I'm wrong - in sure there are some expert cactus growers here.

First time we tried it., but it seems to have gone well - looking forward to them growing quickly (the teacher said most people are really surprised at how fast grafted cacti grow).

Bonus: my dog going "can I eat these?": dog tax

Was getting a lil’ too top heavy for my liking, so I decided it was about time.

Got it like this last year! Was one of my first plants. Love how much it’s grown.

I forgot to mention, that the picture is a bit old already (my bad).
Here is an up-to-date one: https://imgur.com/a/XhtOGc7

I have had this issue with my jade plants for several years. All leaves develop a scaly texture after a while. New leaves regrow green and healthy. Some smaller leaves quickly turn silver and just fall off. All of my jade plants have this, but none of my other succulents seem affected. It also doesn't kill the plants, they are all several years old.

At first, I thought it might be sunburn since I have them under a grow light. But then the pattern on the larger leaves almost looks like something is eating through them. In addition, most images of sun burned jade plants I found online look a little bit different (the patches seem to be rounder and have a different texture).

Could this be some sort of fungal infection?

I found this old reddit thread which seems to be about the exact same issue. However, the OP never found the underlying cause.

Look who just got delivered! Gonna need to get some planters soon, but to be honest the slitted ones this store ships them in are really great for water drainage...

My lithops have been in various stages of splitting for the past few months. They have decided to show the process all in one pot! The potting medium is perlite.

After trying (and failing) to rescue an overwatered Echeveria plant from the supermarket, I sort of got addicted to succulents and went out and bought this one. I have no idea what Im doing but Im hoping starting with a healthy one will be a better introduction.

Gettin' too big and stretchy for its pot!

Hey everyone, I just got back from vacation and I'm super happy to see that the community didn't implode! Thank you all for being respectful while I was away and making my first mod experience a good one. I'll have to find a mod buddy before my next vacation 🤣.

It took a while, but it's back and flourishing. 😍 I'll give it another year or so and then start working on ramification and creating a canopy. I traded a cactus nursery a bunch of seeds from my euphorbia obesa pair for it in Feb '21 and it's grown so much!
