If you want the kind of community that "isn't scared of words" there are plenty of free speech platforms out there that sound just like a COD lobby.
Unless you want to admit there are, in fact, quite a few words and behaviors you don't want to be allowed, and you (and most people) just disagree on where the line is.
It is weird that .ml drew such a strict line though. It makes me wonder if they thought China might allow the Fediverse if they didn't have naughty words flying around?
