It's so much easier to establish a troll farm on Lemmy than on Reddit (which is flooded regardless), so it makes a great playground for psyop operations
After dealing with Hasbara, Russian, and Chinese trolls for well over a decade, I learned to pick them out pretty good. Based on my experience I haven't detected too much troll activity on lemmy.world or any of the other lemmy instances. On reddit, however, Hasbarah trolls are running fucking rampant. Have yet to see something like that on Lemmy.
