But these restrictions went further. They disallowed the attacking of valid military targets in Russia proper using supplied weapons.

So far Ukraine has gone after valid military targets only, which makes sense as it is the most bang for your buck militarily.

And if they where to all of a sudden pull a Putin and start targeting civilian targets, it is the shortest path to not getting any more aid.

So the restrictions are nonsense.
