Jack Black is currently working for the Dems so this makes sense in that they wouldn't want his campaigning for Biden to be associated with endorsing the assassination attempt.

It's cringe obviously. But it makes sense in the context that he's literally part of their campaign and that being against it is the party line.

I think it'll blow over after the election and they'll be back together. Purely happening because of the "Rock the Vote" gigs that Jack is part of(cringe warning). With that said the claim that Rock the Vote is "non-partisan" is obviously bollocks.
