This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

Rule 3: No sectarianism.

This is going to sound like a tinfoil hat theory to defend her actions so lemme say she's dumb as fuck, a huge dissapointment and a certified lib.

I think her and Bernie are trying to triangulate (poorly)

It's a bunch of power seeking dems calling for biden to drop out based on horserace bullshit, nobody's actually arguing to replace him with somebody with better politics just better optics of not being the fucking crypt keeper.

I think bernie and AOC think they're being very clever by advocating for biden so that when he does eventually step down and then his replacement loses anyway they can say "can't blame us progressives for this one we were saying he should stay"

Unfourtunatly their plan boils down to getting liberals to stop blaming them for everything by becoming turbo libs.

Or they could just say nothing and accomplish the same thing

Not really, seems like he's going to get replaced if he has to be dragged out screaming so they want to be on the record advocating for him because in this scenario they think the statements won't affect the actual outcome but in hindsight they can say they weren't the one "splitting the party"

If they said nothing people would just say it was the progressives (I know, meaningless descriptor) that called for biden to be replaced and cost the dems another election.

Again they're making the mistake of trying to argue withing dems framework where Clinton ran a great campaign and leftists were just to sexist to support her.

There is no scenario in which they won't get blamed. The democratic machine will invent some justification for punching left

I think they may also be triangulating that since everyone is against Biden, if he wins everyone else will have burned their bridges with him but the progressive wing (Bernie/AOC) will have had his back.

The problem with this is that Biden is the only guy who could actually lose to Trump, even with the assassination attempt. Any generic democrat they pick to replace him will probably beat Trump, so all they're doing is tying themselves to ship that will either sink now or in November.

I would say that there must be something they feel they get out of supporting Biden but that would assume they're savvy politicians, which they don't really seem to be
